A creative chronicle of ancient myths and untold history of Nepal that is being developed as a series of episodes.
The series has a visual design of Paubha painting and includes stories related to popular beliefs from Kathmandu, formerly known as Nepal mandal.
With a rich cultural heritage that can be traced back to at least 300 BC, Kathmandu city was a virgin land to the western explorers until a few decades ago. While it took two millennia for the Newah community to find a unique cultural definition for themselves, Kathmandu valley could not withstand a strong wave at the cost of its identity. Industrial and technological influx, also brought along with it what is today a whole-heartedly accepted western culture. The remaining tradition now bears very less originality.
