A teaser video from yantrakala’s upcoming animated feature film – “Majipa: Lakhay” (मजिपा: लाखय्) was released simultaneously in U.K. at SOAS University of London, and in Nepal at Microsoft Innovation centre Nepal, Kathmandu. Photos from both the events can be viewed here.

Synopsis
Majipa: Lakhay is a movie based on the love story of a Lakhay and a woman. The lakhay is a Nepali folk creature who is devil-like but worshipped as a God for his good qualities. The story includes the historic backdrop of Jung Bahadur Rana’s trip to England as Nepal’s first official visit.
This movie is a contemporary adaptation of historical drama written by living legend of Nepal, Dr Satya Mohan Joshi.
